Karai introduces herself as the Shredder’s adopted daughter and leader of the Foot operations in Japan. She promises the Turtles that the Foot Clan will leave them in peace if they help her assume the Shredder’s role to stop the raging turf war. Raphael refuses to help, but his brothers and Casey go along with the plan.
