   آغاخانیت اب فرقے سے زیادہ مذہب کی شکل اختیار کر چکی ہے۔ یہ آغا خان میں نعوذباللہ خدائی حلول کا عقیدہ رکھتے ہیں۔ کیا آپ کو پتہ ہے کہ ان کے جماعت خانوں میں دعا کے باقاعدہ پیسے وصول کیے جاتے ہیں؟ جس کا بڑا حصہ آغا خان کو جاتا ہے۔ اگر آپ جائزہ لینگے تو آپکو پتہ چلے گا کہ آغا خان شروع سے کسی بڑی کمپنی کا مالک نہیں بلکہ بقول آپکے ”بھیک“ کے سہارے آج 5 بلین ڈالر سے زائد کا مالک ہے۔

   Dear brother, i am please to see that you decided to write about Ismailies about which not only history doesn’t provide much information but what ever there is , its mainly from the people who oppose it for their own reasons. In such a case justice to history and intellect is hard to expect.

   80 to 90% of the material over internet and that in text or book form is from the people who are against the Ismaili faith. In order to establish (read adding spicy touch and interest) to their argument they often resort to accussions that are either at times false from the very begining or distorted.

   Therefore the common man ( a non Aga Khani) is not to be blamed for in this case but educated people like you have an additional responsiblity of either presenting facts as they are or staying silent. Just repeating others point of viewing , especially when you admit you heard them only proves that you are not honest in opinion making and therefore discredits your argument.

   Now from your post i can understand you even dont have basic information about the Ismaili ( or Aga Khani as its known in ASIA and now rest of the WORLD) so therefore instead of accusing your inreturn, i shall request you to either read what the Aga Khani’s officially claim or do some practical research in this regard. My email address is listed in this comment so you can reach out to me any time. I only hope your email doesnt go into JUNK section which i usually clean up without looking much into many times. In order to make an opinion you do need to see what the Aga Khani’s claim because manjority of the people who attack their faith attribute things which either they dont accept or they dont do it in a way its projected.

   I shall give you a detail example on this. Following is an email that i am pasting here , and its actually a reply to a similar accusation by some Army Brigadier over internet. He had some similar accusations.

   And please do also some research on role of AGA KHAN III in formation of PAKISTAN. Who formed Muslim League, who got top muslim leaders on to one platform, all these should be known to you.

   And most importantly what the AGA KHAN himself says, it should be the most decisive factor when you form an opinion on AGA KHAN

   Also please keep a distinction between what the Ismailism says officially and what the followers do . Just like 80% of QURAN has been ignored by muslims all around the world. The involved in all kinds of evils from terrorism to prostitution and from drinking to all other activities but do we ever accuse QURAM or ISLAM for it? No we dont. Thats why i had requested you to do a proper research before forming an opinion.

   The AGA KHAN doesnt like showing off his good work unlike the rest of the leaders (spiritual and worldly) who dont miss a chance of even having photo sessions for minor philanthropic deeds. The AGA KHAN striclty believes in the legacy of Hazrat Ali & prophet Mohammad (PBUH) who dont like showing off good work.
   Hardly few people know his contribution in Pakistan Movement. Here are some videos.

   سر اغا خان صاحب کی خدمات کو بہی نظر انداز نہیں کیا جاسکتا که که میں نے بهی صرف سنا هوا هی هے کتنے هی ممالک پاکستان ایمبیسی کی عمارت ان کی عطیه هیں ـ

   اگر آپ کسی کو اس کی نسل کی وجه سے باعث عزت هونے کا یقین رکھتے هیں تو !!!ـ
   برصغیر کے معاشرے میں سید لوگوں کا پیشه واقعی لوگوں سے عطیات لینا ہے کچھ لوگ اس کو خیرات بهی کہـ سکتے هیں ـ

   There are around 2.5 billion Muslims in the world. Could you please mention the name of one spiritual leader or president or PM or king or any other type of leader who has done this much of work as the AGA KHAN has done for the UMMAH. Many people believe that he only does it for Ismailies. What people dont know is he mainly does it for the MUSLIMs in general but since his own community people participate actively in professional as well as volunteer activities, they get highlighted first. Also you would be amazed to know that the majority of people working in AGA KHAN organizations are non AGA KHANis and the majority of people who benefit are also NON AGA KHANis. Take for example the case of AGA KHAN university hospital Karachi. The majority people who are doing job there or coming as patient are non AGA KHANis.The only plus point for the AGA KHANIs is if they are not able to pay the heavy fee they get some sort of assistance from related community NGOs etc. But this at times is not available to others, reason being its not possible for AGA KHAN university hospital to check people and their financial condition with certainty outside the community. And we all know how easy it is for people in KARACHI to make fake documents. Within community its easy for the hospital to keep and eye and find out the truth about the financial condition of a family. There is also no doubt about the fact that AKU is quite expansive but at the same time do consider the annual BUDGET BILL the hospital pays. Just add up the electricity, water , maintenance and other bills that run into millions.etc.

   So please do some research before forwarding false accusation. Also please keep in mind that the AGA KHANi community itself doesnt consist of angels. They are after all humans like you and me. If they are not running any institute or organisation properly dont put the blame on AGA KHAN. The AGA KHAN runs one of the largest networks of hujmanity and assisance and philanthrophy the world has ever seen with thousands of schools all over the world ( mainly in 3rd world and african) hospitals and all kind of organisations ALONE and ONLY ALONE. Imagine the world load he has, PLUS this is all the worldly worlload. Imagine the religioujs worlload he has to take care of about 25 -30 million Ismailies around the world. Its said that the AGA KHAN works 20 hours non-stop a day. He even doesnt take a break in his aeroplane and keep on cheking files and documents send to him by high officials all around the world.

   Compare this with all other of your MUSLIM leadership and tell me does anyone else comes 1% close to what he has done or is doing for the MUSLIM ummah. How many of you know that the AGA KHAN plays and active party in helping MUSLIM countries getting stability and peace. How many of you know the role of AGA KHAN as a negociiating partnet to different sides in IRAQ and other his role in rescuring 1 million MUSLIMs in central Asia when the whole MUSLIM ummah was sleepiung and people were dying of starvation and no availibility of food when RUSSIA abondoned the CENTRAL ASIA muslim countries.

   As i have said earlier the AGA KHAN is not a personality who believes in giving photo shoots (unless insisted by press obviously) t o public for all the good worked he does.

   People have mentioned about him being the direct descendant of Hazrat Ali etc. For that please refer to the books and read “The Ismailies , their history and doctrine” by Farhad Daftary ( again a non AGA KHANI scholar) who did 20+ years of research on Ismaili history and came up with this master piece.

   As for all the personal beliefs of the Ismailies, its their personal matter and no one sect in ISLAM has the right to point a finger on other. Everyone considers itself the TRUE ONE. So let ALLAH be the justice decider and not the fake and fatwa-obsessed ulema .

   Some misconceptions about AGA KHANis:-

   The AGA KHANIs do pray Namaz (which they call dua). It has Quranic verses and prayers in Arabic.

   - The Aga Khanis pay the highest number of Zakat & Khairat but they do it to Aga Khan. Please refer to the gov. resources on this. The Aga Khan uses this amount on the well bing of Ismailiy community and also the rest of the world. So Mr. badtamiz i dont know why you said that you were amazed to see AGA KHANIs sending money to their IMAM.

   - The AGA KHANIs consider their IMAM the direct descendent of Hazrat Ali ( please check their shujrah nasab) and therefore give him the final authority like just HAZRAT ALI used to be in his time.

   - The ISMAILIes have all the basic concepts of Eid,Qurbani,Zakat,Khairat,Hajj and all other religious aspects.

   - The ISMAILISM is a spiritual sect and therefore please understand it as such. Dont try to compare it whatever you follow. If your sects emphasis on shalwar kameez and having a daadhi it doesnt meant thats what they believe in. You have a different frame of reference and they have a different. They see the religion from a different eye and you from different so its natural that they have their own ways , justified in their opinion, and true in their opinion.

    And this is for MR SAJID IQBAL :-

    The AGA KHAN doesnt claim to be GOD or anything such.
    The AGA KHAN collects the zakat etc. from his men and uses it for the best benefit of his community. And any neutral person would say he did it with perfection. He is not like all other of your ulemas on whom i dont need to lecture on what they do with the money of Zakat and Khairat. Do check the public accounts records of gov. of Pakistan to see the corruption that is done by your ulemas in religion. Here at least its going into safe hand and direction and most importantly its coming back to the people.

    The IMAM of Aga Khanis follow the same model as HAZRAT ALI used to do when he was a Khalifa. Would you accuse Hazrat Ali of using public money for his own? Also you need to look into history and know that the AGA KHAN wed one of the wealthiest of IRANI Kings daughter few hundred years back so wealth did came in then. Stop commenting without knowing about something. .

    پاکستان کے سب شہروں سے زیادہ اسماعیلی کراچی میں رہتے ہیں۔ حتی کہ پاکستان کے شمالی علاقوں میں جن غیرمسلموں کو کنورٹ کرا جاتا ہے وہ بھی اسماعیلی کمیونٹی کراچی لاکر بسا رہی ہے۔ جو کہ بہت اچھی بات ہے۔ یہ لوگ انہیں یہاں اسکولوں اور کالجوں میں بھرتی کراتے ہیں اور غالبا ان لوگوں کی تعلیم صحت اور رہائش کے انتظامات بھی کمیونٹی ہی کرتی ہے کیونکہ جن علاقوں میں یہ رہتے ہیں مثلا گارڈن ایسٹ وہاں فلیٹ خریدنا کافی مہنگا کام ہے۔ کراچی کی میمن، بوہری، اور اسمعاعیلی کمیونیٹیز بہت زیادہ منظم ہیں۔ آپ نے ان کی جس تنظیم کا مشاہدہ امریکہ میں کیا ہے اس کا صحیح اندازہ کراچی میں ان کے مطالعے سے ہی ہوسکتا ہے۔ شہر کے لئے ان کی سماجی اور فلاحی خدمات لاتعداد ہیں۔

    کراچی میں بھی ان کی دکانوں مکانوں اور گاڑیوں میں آغاخان کی تصاویر آویزاں ہوتی ہیں۔ گرچہ میں خود دسیوں اسماعیلیوں کو جانتا ہوں مگر عجیب بات یہ ہے کہ کراچی میں لوگوں کو ان کے مذہب کے بارے میں کوئی خاص تجسس نہیں ہوتا۔ اور لوگ یا تو ان کے عقائد کے بارے میں بہت کم جانتے ہیں یا سرے سے کچھ جانتے ہی نہیں۔ لیکن بہرحال بہت اچھے لوگ ہوتے ہیں، اچھے پڑوسی ہوتے ہیں، دیانتدار کاروباری ہوتے ہیں اور خوش اخلاق اور وضعدار ہوتے ہیںً۔

    I have already seen that website and there is nothing there to talk about. Its all the typical rubbish out there. Moreover its about the faith of the AGA KHANis and that is separate topic. As i said earlier there is no one sect which can have the right to judge other . In fact even if all sects agree on one point and there is only one sect on other side they cannot force their will on it. Neither QURAN, nor HADITH nor any such other law allows one to do it. But if you talk about but if one uses the majority population force and try to enforce their version onto others, it has no solution.

    Just for the sake of some correction the people who have come from NORTH parts of Pakistan to karachi are not here because of the help from the AGA KHANIs from Karachi. They have all (almost 98%) came here at their own and are doing avg. jobs to make their ends meet. Over the last 20 years many of these have secured higher positions in society and thus have become a part of the overall AGA KHANi community in Karachi. There is no doubt about the fact that at the beginning ( and to some extent still now) they could not pay the amount for education, health and other requirements and AGA KHAN foundation has helped them a lot i this regard. Please keep in mind that all this is possible due to the very strong VOLUNTEER system and community bonding the AGA KHANis have, though a good number of them come from very different backgrounds.

    By the way MR MERCIFUL please consult a high caliber (and not a mediocre as he will definitely help you spread the propaganda instead of removing your misunderstandings) AGA KHANi scholar for faith related problems and for HISTORY related questions refer to the BOOK i have earlier mentioned. It gives a complete account of the ISMAILI history from a neutral perspective ( the author words with IIS but is not an AGA KHANi)

    The questions you have raised are the ones which dont even know the basic AGA KHANi premise to start with. You first need to understand the concepts of the word IMAM ( not the IMAN you guys talk about or the IMAM in your mosque or the IMAM e kaaba) , the authority of IMAM and such topics. Ismaili scholars in history have already answered all those questions even before the word AGA KHAN was coined few hundred years back in IRAN.

    Please read Syedna Qazi Nauma’s book “Daim ul Islam” for some basic understanding.

    But from a layman’s point of view here is the difference between what you are asking and what the ISMAILIEs believe in.
    There is a man who likes GEOMATRY and he tries to explain all phenomenon in the world using GEOMATRY. There is another guy who does the same using AL JEBRA now why would any of them force their version and method of explanation onto other. The only way they can have an argument about a point is if they both believe in one POINT OF REFERENCE. You guys follow “Shariat” , the AGA KHANis go above it and follow tareeqat, haqeeqat, maarifat .

    You have to understand the language in which the ISMAILISM deals in before commenting on any other SUB-SET

    مجھے تو یہ پتہ ہے کے آغا خان ہاسپٹل پاکستان کے بہترین اسپتالوں‌میں‌سے ایک اور آغاخان یونیورسٹی بہترین یونیورسٹیوں میں سے ایک۔۔ اب پیسے کھانے کی جہاں تک بات ہے تو پاکستان میں‌ کس نے نہیں‌کھایا لیکن کسی نے ایک یونیورسٹی، ایک ہسپتال، ایک اسکول بھی دیا ہے‌؟‌

    ویسے بھی مسلمان اپنے رسول کی شان میں‌گستاخی کرنے والے کو بقول شخصے واصل جہنم کیے بغیر چین سے نہیں بیٹھتے لیکن دوسرے لوگوں کے روحانی اور مذہبی پیشواؤں‌کا معاملہ آتا ہے تو “تیری بھینس کو بھوپال لے جاؤں” کہنے سے بھی نہیں‌چوکتے۔۔ یہ دورخی ہے جسکا طعنہ ہم امریکہ کو دیتے رہتے ہیں

    So if Aga khanis are that much good than why they never invite all other muslims to their jamat khana and why their teachings and practices from child birth to funeral are always a secret???. Just saying the goods words are not enough. I know many of Aga khanis and they are my friends and they never invited me in their relogious gatherings. why??? I invite all the world to see and feel what we muslims practice in out religious occasions. They just show us a parade once in a year. Why are they secretive enough to become a mystery???. Doing good work is great and many people in the world has done it like mother teresa & lady diana etc but it does’nt make them a good muslim which is primarily important or if you are not than please don’t imposter yourself as a muslim. If the rest of world does’nt know about them is just only because of themselves. They are always secretive

    Well I am sorry if I hurt anyone in my above message and it was not intentional. All I want to say is that with all the respect for Agha Khan and his followers that they are secretive, myterious just because of themselves. I want to know and thousands of other people want to know about them so just tell us about yourself apart from that speeches which is very good but it describes nothing about what they practices. If they are muslims than why they have everything different from all the muslims on earth?
