I bought a Microsoft lifecam VX-3000 a few months back. It was the cheapest and I bought it coz I am really not into webcams and I had to buy it for family. I liked the Microsoft Lifecam NX-6000 but there were reports of shorter usb cable and compatibility issues with windows vista.

just now microsoft announced the launch of 2 new webcams. one is lifecam VX-7000 and the other is lifecam NX-3000.

I really like the VX-7000 but its not available yet and can be pre-order at amazon. any one considering sending me a gift should take a look at my wish list. this would be the cheapest :p

Lifecam VX-7000
