میرے چند دوستوں نے اردو سے انگلش کی طرف ہجرت کی۔ اب انگلش بلاگ بھی مذاق تھا اور اردو بلاگ بھی مذاق ہی تھا۔ خیر یہ ان کا ذاتی فیصلہ تھا۔ یہ کچھ عجیب سا ہے کہ ایک طرف آپ اردو اردو کریں اور پھر انگلش میں مشقیں کریں۔ اور انگلش کو برتر ماننے والے کا الزام کسی اور کے سر۔
اردو بلاگز سے اکثر لوگ اس لئے بھاگ گئے کہ وہ اردو کے ساتھ گوگل ایڈ سیسنس کا استعمال نہیں کر سکتے تھے۔ یہ ایک افسوسناک امر تھا۔ پہلے لڑائی جھگڑے سے اردو بلاگرز کم ہوئے اور اس کے بعد نادانی کی وجہ سے۔
میں ایک عرصہ سے گوگل ایڈسینس کو سٹڈی کر رہا ہوں۔ اس کو اس قابل بنانے کے لئے کہ یہ اردو بلاگز پر بھی کام کر سکے کے لئے اپنے بلاگ کے ساتھ کافی چھیڑ چھاڑ کی۔ نتیجے میں اس پر اس قدر کوڈ جمع ہو گیا کہ لوڈ ہونے پر یہ گھنٹوں لیتا۔
اس سے قبل قدیر بلاگ پر ایڈز چلانے کے لئے جزوی کامیابی حاصل کر چکا تھا۔ قدیر نے کی ورڈز کے سہارے یہ کام کرنے کی ٹھانی۔ جہانزیب نے بھی اسی طریقے سے اپنے بلاگ پر ایڈز چلا کر مجھے دیکھائے۔ لیکن کی ورڈز مجھے مناسب نہیں لگ رہے تھے۔ ایک تو میں نے گوگل کے estimate key word tool کو استعمال کر کے دیکھا۔ میرا نہیں خیال تھا کہ گوگل اس قدر بچہ رہے گا کہ نہ سمجھ سکے کہ کی ورڈز کے سہارے زیادہ پے والے ایڈز چلانے کی کوشش ہو رہی ہے۔ اور پھر اگر سب کی ورڈز ایک جیسے نہیں تب تو بالکل ہی یہ کام نہیں ہونا۔
وہی ہوا اکثر صفحات پر ایڈز پہلے پہل آ کر چند ہی گھنٹوں میں غائب ہو گئے۔ اس کے بعد بھی میں نے مزید سٹڈی جاری رکھی۔ اپنے بلاگ پر ایک بات نوٹ کی کہ سرچ پیج پر ایڈز ظاہر ہو رہے تھے۔ یہ بات سمجھ سے باہر تھی۔ کچھ عرصے بعد ایسے ہی دسمبر کے آرکائیو پر گیا وہاں سے پوسٹس پر تو ایڈز ظاہر ہو رہے تھے۔ مزید دیکھا تو 3:1 کی ratio سے ایڈز اردو صفحات پر نظر آ رہے تھے۔ لیکن recent صفحات پر یہ نہیں تھے۔
اب میں نے ایک نیا طریقہ آزمایا۔ کہیں سے ایک انگلش آرٹیکل لے کر اس کا فونٹ کلر سفید کر دیا۔ اس کو پوسٹ پیج کے آخر میں رکھ دیا۔ اس کے بعد پوسٹ صرف نام دے کر اور کیٹگری سیٹ کر کے پبلش کر دی۔ پبلش کرنے کے بعد دو تین دفعہ اس خالی پوسٹ کو وزٹ کیا۔ اس کے بعد دوبارہ ایڈیٹ کر کے اس میں پوسٹ کاپی پیسٹ کر دی۔ اب دوبارہ وزٹ کیا تو ایڈز نظر آ رہے تھے۔ اور یہ ایڈز مسلسل نظر آ رہے ہیں۔ اس سارے عمل میں dsl پر بمشکل 3 منٹ لگے۔
اس طریقہ میں سب سے بری بات ہر صفحہ پر ایک ہی انگلش آرٹیکل کا ہونا ہے۔ لیکن جیسے possibilities are unlimited تو چند ایک میں بتا دیتا ہوں باقی لوگ خود ذہین ہیں۔ اس کا ایک طریقہ یہ ہے کہ پوسٹ کو انگلش میں لکھ کر پوسٹ کر دیں۔ جب ایڈذ آ جائیں تو ایڈیٹ کر کے اردو پوسٹ شامل کر دیں۔ یہ ان لوگوں کے لئے جنکو انگلش کا شوق ہے۔ جیسے پوسٹ لکھنے سے پہلے اس کا نام اور کیٹگری منتخب کر کے اس کو پبلش کر دیں۔ اب پوسٹ لکھنے میں وقت لگے گا اتنی دیر میں گوگل ایڈز ظاہر ہو جائیں گیں۔ اب پھر ایڈیٹ کر کے پوسٹ شامل کر لیں۔
ایک طریقہ یہ بھی ہو سکتا ہے کہ پوسٹ میں موجود اہم الفاظ کو کی ورڈز کی شکل میں شامل کر لیں۔ اب پوسٹ میں انگلش لکھنی نہیں پڑے گی کیونکہ کی ورڈز جو شامل کر دیئے۔ اب اس کو پبلش کر دیں۔ پھر اسی طرح خالی پوسٹ کو وزٹ کر کے کی ورڈز کی مناسبت سے ایڈز ظاہر ہونے دیں اور پھر ایڈیٹ کر کے اردو پوسٹ شامل کر کے پبلش کر دیں۔
ایک طریقہ جس کو میں کم از کم ابھی کے لئے prefer کرونگا یہ themed blogs کے لئے مناسب رہے گی۔ جیسے میرا پاکستان اور ساجد اقبال وغیرہ جیسے بلاگز پر مناسب رہے گی۔ چونکہ میرا پاکستان زیادہ تر پاکستان کے حوالے سے لکھتے ہیں اور ساجد اقبال ٹیکنالوجی کے حوالے سے تو یہ لوگ اس مناسبت سے انگلش میں 3 پیراگراف ایک ایک آرٹیکل لکھ کر پہلے طریقے سے شامل کر لیں۔ جیسے میرا پاکستان اس میں مشرف سے لے کر عمران خان تک کو اپنے آرٹیکل میں شامل کر لیں۔ اس کے بعد اب ان کے بلاگ پر صرف پاکستان سے related ایڈز ہونگے۔ جو بلاگ تھیم سے مناسبت رکتھے ہیں۔
گوگل کوڈ جنریٹ کرتے ہوئے اگر ایک ایڈ سائز ایک سے زیادہ دفعہ استعمال کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتے ہوں تو جتنی دفعہ کرنا ہو اتنی دفعہ کوڈ جنریٹ کروائیں اور کسٹم چینلز ضرور استعمال کریں۔ اگر آپ ایک کوڈ کو دو دفعہ استعمال کرتے ہیں تو گوگل ان دونوں سے حاصل ہونے والی پیج امپریشن ایک دفعہ ہی کاؤنٹ کرتا ہے۔ جیسے دونوں پر 6٫6 پیج امپریشنز ہیں تو گوگل اس کو 6 ہی گنے گا۔ لیکن اگر کسٹم چینل استعمال کیا ہے تو یہ ٹوٹل 12 شمار ہونگیں۔
دوسروں کے ایڈز پر تو لوگ جان کر کلک نہیں کرتے کے اگلے کو کوئی فائدہ نہ ہو جائے :p لیکن اپنے پر نہ کرنا مجبوری ہوتی ہے۔ اگر کسی ایڈ پر دل آ جائے لیکن سمجھ نہ لگے کہ کیسے اس کی سائیٹ تک جایا جائے۔ اس کے لئے گوگل نے ایک ٹول جاری کیا ہے۔ اس کا نام adsense preview tool ہے اس کو استعمال کریں۔
اگر آپ نئے بلاگر ہیں تو اردو اور انگلش دونوں پوسٹس کو ایک ہی بلاگ پر رکھیں۔ دو بلاگ بنانے سے کچھ فائدہ نہیں ہوگا۔ الٹا آپ دونوں کو مناسب وقت نہیں دے پائیں گیں۔ ایک بلاگ پر چاہے اردو انگلش کا مکسچر ہو لوگ آتے رہیں گیں نہیں تو ٹریفک بری طرح متاثر ہو گی۔ انڈیکس کرنے کے لئے بھی یہ مددگار ثابت ہو گا۔
کوشش کریں کہ اپنے بلاگ کر روزانہ سرچ انجنز سے سرچ کروا کر اس تک پہنچیں۔ میرا بلاگ msn search پر کافی نیچے تھے۔ اب یہ پہلے نمبر پر ہے۔ لنکس کاؤنٹ ہوتے ہیں۔ لیکن میرے خیال سے صرف لنکس پر سرچ انجن بیٹھے رہیں تو لنک ایکسچینج والے جنک کے ساتھ اوپر رہیں گیں۔ لہذا عقل کی بات تو یہی ہے کہ سرچ انجن اس کو بھی ملحوظ خاطر رکھیں کہ کس چیز کو سرچ کرتے ہوئے لوگ سب سے زیادہ کس سائیٹ تک گئے۔ ثبوت کے طور پر میرے بلاگ کا 7 سے پہلے نمبر پر آنا ہے۔
سرچ کے لئے کوشش کریں کہ ایک مخصوص ورڈ استعمال کریں بجائے یہ کہ ہر کی ورڈ سے associate کروانے کی کوشش کریں۔ تاکہ اس ورڈ کو سرچ کرنے پر آپ کے صفحہ کا ایڈریس کم از کم سرچ انجنز پر پہلے صفحہ پر ضرور آئے۔ جیسے انتخابات کے دوران idiot سرچ کرنے پر صدر بش کا وہائیٹ ہاؤس کی سائیٹ پر موجود پیج اوپن ہوتا تھا۔
اس طریقہ سے ایڈز چلانے کے لئے امید ہے کسی کو کسی قسم کی دقت کا سامنا نہیں ہو گا۔ اگر پھر بھی ہو تو کمنٹس میں لکھ دیں میں کوشش کرونگا کہ حل پیش کر سکوں۔

Also you are violating many other guidelines. Using keywords to get targetted ads is allowed, however you can not use keywords that are not relevant to the page content.
Showing google ads on a page with most content in an unsupported language is also a violation.
What could happen if any one is violating these terms?
Nothing, google may simply ignore your attempts until the Advertisers or visitors to your website complain. In order to make most revenue from the Adwords it is very important for google to listen Advertiser feedback and respond to it. They would immidiately ban your account and restrict all your payments and earnings if any advertiser complains about your website.
A banned account is difficult to get reactivated. Not only your name, email and payment address is banned google also bans all pages that ever displayed google ads for the banned account.
Then how we the Urdu people generate revenue? Write an email to google support team and tell them how desparately you want adsense to be made available for Urdu content. Also encourage people to advertise using Adwords in Urdu. Please do not encourage people to use fraudulent techniques to generate money. Its called Theft!

As I said earlier, that most of the time google does not take any action. Their bots are not stupid they can differentiate between text and images and not only the adsense crawler but the pages linking to a particular domain lets say sabza.org also come under consideration to choose the right ads for a page. Thats how pictorial urdu pages justify their ads. But even those sites may become a victim of adsense ban policies if 1) an advertiser complains 2) visitor complaints cross the maximum violation threshold.
I wrote an article for the Spider’s March 2007 issue covering these topics. The article is not available online but if you want I can email it to you.
Google simply disregard any invalid clicks or any page which doesnt comply with thier policies. Current search and digital advertising reports shows google lost a handful markete to rivals microsoft and yahoo. I still hope google support urdu language as well as consider EFT for subcontinent.

I don’t see any reason I am suppose to clarify but after reading adil n zara here is what I wrote. shakir though that I blv English got an edge over urdu who larte on started his English blog. The joke blogs I called are owned by qadeer. I never even visited ur English blog. Hope you do got a log of ur visitor rather than just false claims of this much visitor.
The only bit of useful information in your real long (some what threatening?) comment was that google prohibits the use of ads on unsupported pages. I wonder why you could never mention that before. And why google accepted my and a few of my frnds request to join adsense in the first place while all of us used the urdu-unicode websites to signup. Google could have rejected us.
What google should do now? Tell me to make a separate blog to write English stuff and put ads? I thought google already met the issue of bi-language blogs by putting public service ads.
No need to send google an email. After all none of the urdu blogger were desperate enough to put some copied stuff with feminine names to cream another blog. I blv google is working on the project already. You definitely missed my theory over how google should cater urdu language pages. So never mind.

I have seen pages for over two years with text in very light color and with a bold heading click on the link while there was just one ad present. You would call that a violation. It was a workaround and google didn’t ban his account and it over 2 years now.

Waqas: google issued the preview tools due to lots of peoples testing ads units. I know that too that they don’t honor any clicks they think were made by bots or some foe of yours. Google might have lost share to rivals but google is famous for bold moves. I think soon they will support much more languages along with urdu.

We receive a check each month by Secure Delivery and we are about to hit the $1000 mark. and thats really nothing some people in Pakistan (with real websites) are making a lot more than that.
Shakir: It is harmful. For example look at this page some Diamond related websites allowed google to display their ads on pages talking jewelry, diamond rings, etc. The keywords, hidden text, and other techniques mentioned above are actually causing harm to:
i. The Advertiser, you are stealing their money.
ii. The Middle man, that is google you are ruining their reputation.
iii. The real content providers, people who create websites fill them with content and earn revenue. Lots of them are Pakistanis and many of them are bloggers.
I prefer to comment in Urdu but you need to tweak your stylesheet to make it easier for people to read urdu on your blog.

still you are required to be very specific while chosing words. you would use general terms to convay your msg while would give it a completely different meaning. thats where you enrage someone for no reason becoz most of the time you dont mean what u say.
you missed the whole point. lets try one more time. you are suppose to put keywords according to your blog. so you get relevent ads to what so ever you write. while in my test.
