welcome vista

Windows Vista, a long awaited version of windows was finally out for rtm in late december and for general public on 31st january. I have always been a windows fan and appriciate microsoft’s work (no doubt i am strongly agaisnt their pricing monopoly). I had windows 98 on my pc ever since 2001 when I purchased my first pc. later in the year after the release of windows xp I made that pc a dual boot and ever since then my pc always been a dual boot. Even in 2003 when I bought my 2nd pc a P4 almost the most powerful pc at the time markete could offer. (it was a 2.4ghz while the most powerful cpu you could buy was 2.8ghz). No I wasnt nuts. lol. I was just too much into games at that time that I used windows 98 for gaming and for clg work I used Windows XP. (fun part is when a few games had problems with windows 98 and they wont run. I was advised to play them on Windows ME but instead I played them on Windows XP :D). I got rid of windows 98 late may last year when I moved here. but I missed dual boot soo much that I installed windows vista when microsoft released the beta2, then to rc1 and finally yesterday I installed the final version. So windows vista welcome to my pc :).

since I am very bad at remebering where I read what usefull tip, trick or tweak. I am going to save some of the most usefull tips here (yeah copy paste). so here is the new tag on my blog. “windows vista” with that the first post I took from Neowin forums.
